Brett got a new John Deere tractor at his work. Griffin loves tractors so Brett took him for a ride on the new tractor. Griffin was so excited.

Griffin enjoying a lollipop with Brett at the Duck Race Parade in Deming, N.M. Deming has an annual festival called the Duck Races. Yes, they are actual duck races. It's lots of fun.

The company Brett works for, Solitaire Homes, had an entry in the Duck Race Parade this year. They had to show off their outhouse they made for the outhouse races. Yes, outhouse races.

The Solitaire Homes outhouse received best in show this year. It's a pretty good looking outhouse don't you think.

I got a picture of the outhouse race teams with the outhouse the day of the race. We won one race. We'll be back next year and they better watch out. We'll have a new and improved outhouse next year.

We rented a moonwalk for Griffin's birthday party, but we got rained out. The lady we rented it from let us keep it overnight. We aired it up the next morning to let it dry out. We played in it for about 30 minutes all by ourselves. That was lots of fun. I can't remember the last time I got to jump around in a moonwalk. Brett and I had as much fun as Griffin did.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRIFFIN!!!! You are now two years old. Griffin had a great birthday party. He loves tractors so the theme of his party this year was John Deere tractors. We had lots of fun at the party.

Griffin is two years old today! Yea Griffin!! We are having his birthday party on Sat. July 19th. We got a surprise today. After I got home from working out this evening, we decided to go out and eat for Griffin's birthday. We loaded up in the pickup and got to the end of the block at the stop sign and heard a car horn behind us. We turned around and there in the car behind us was Granny Rhonda, Great-Gramma Hogstad and Mimi. They drove all the way from Oklahoma to see Griffin on his birthday. We were so excited!
